Amy E. Sobota, MD, MPH

Dr. Sobota is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Boston University School of Medicine and the Chief of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Boston Medical Center. She graduated from Harvard College and the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine. Dr. Sobota completed pediatric residency and chief residency at Children's National Medical Center in Washington DC. She completed training with a fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at Children's Hospital Boston and Dana Farber Cancer Institute and an MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Sobota's clinical and research interests focus on improving care for individuals living with Sickle Cell Disease, specifically around the transition from pediatric to adult care.
