Audrey Christiansen, MD

Dr. Christiansen is a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician at Boston Medical Center. She completed medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis TN. She competed her pediatric residency at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, where she worked on an in patient in initiative to optimize care for children with autism spectrum disorder. She then completed her fellowship in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at Boston Children's Hospital. During fellowship she served on the training committee for the Autism Program, working to train hospital staff in working with patients with autism. She also created a curriculum for training hospital security in working with patients with autism. She continues to train community members and staff in working with persons with autism and is involved in a national committee to develop a consensus regarding Optimization of Medical Environments for Children with Disabilities.
