Disclosure Policy

Boston University School of Medicine asks all individuals, and their spouses/partners, involved in the development and presentation of Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) activities to disclose all relevant financial relationships with commercial interests. This information is disclosed to CME activity participants prior to the start of the educational activity. Boston University School of Medicine has procedures to resolve all relevant conflicts of interest. In addition, faculty members are asked to disclose when any unapproved use of pharmaceuticals and devices is being discussed.

Special Services

BUSM CME complies with the American Disabilties Act and the rules and regulations thereof to make reasonable accommodations for our educational activities. If any participant in this educational activity is in need of accommodations, please contact BUSM CME at cme@bu.edu.

The CME office will work to accommodate dietary requests (including, but not limited to: vegetarian, kosher, low cholesterol, and low-sodium meals) received, in writing, at least two weeks prior to the start of the conference.

Commonwealth Educational Seminars (CES) seeks to ensure equitable treatment of every person and to make every attempt to resolve grievances in a fair manner. Please submit a written grievance to: Naomi Moeller, naomimoe@bu.edu, 617-358-5005.  Grievances would receive, to the best of our ability, corrective action in order to prevent further problems.

Substitution may be made at any time without an additional charge.  Refunds will be issued for all cancellations received at least two weeks prior to the start of the conference.  Should cancellation occur less than two weeks prior to the start of the conference, a credit towards another Boston University School of Medicine Continuing Medical Education Office conference will be issued, not a refund.  

A $75.00 administrative fee will be charged for all refunds and credits. “No shows” are subject to the full course fee.  Cancellations/substitutions must be made in writing to cme@bu.edu.  Refunds and credits will not be issued once the conference has started.
