Needs Statement
According to an article published earlier this month in the New England Journal of Medicine, “the novel nature of SARS-CoV-2, inadequate testing, limited treatment options, insufficient PPE, extended workloads and other emerging concerns are sources of stress” for healthcare providers.This virtual training will provide support and psychoeducation about resilience and self-care to healthcare providers in the age of COVID-19. Particular attention will be paid to managing stress and avoiding burn-out.
